Over 300 attendees will gather for The Onward House Winter Gala at City Winery to celebrate the historic settlement house’s 125th year of Service to Chicagoans in need of low cost educational programs for children and youth, and programs that bridge adults to their long-term goals.

Night of Bright features  City Winery cuisine that borrows from Mediterranean history – Italian, French, Spanish and Middle-Eastern cultures, and music that will get you on your feet performed by audience favorite, Soda Rocks. Inspiring live and silent auctions from some of Chicago’s most famous institutions.

Don your most fabulous frock for a good cause at the Night of Bright Futures Gala, which will help provide  educational and support programs too the Northwest Side.

Our Community

Onward Neighborhood House is a community hub that provides support, resources, and assistance to all who need a helping hand. We began our work West Town in 1893. Today, Onward House proudly serves the northwest side of Chicago including Belmont Cragin and the surrounding neighborhoods of Austin, Hanson Park and Portage Park as well as Logan Square, Hermosa, and Montclare. We have partnership sites for Early Childhood Education and Family Support in the Austin neighborhood.

Impact

At Onward House, individuals and families access programs that serve their immediate needs and long-term goals through our unique blend of services. Our core programming includes Early Childhood Education, School Age, Adult Education, and our Food Pantry. Onward House serves over 950 children and families (approximately 5,500 individuals) annually.
