Matching Gifts
Matching gifts allow your employer to match your charitable donations through your workplace, doubling your contribution! Ask your employer if there is a matching gifts program at your workplace. We are happy to assist you with this process. Please contact us to learn more.
Stock
A direct gift of stock or securities allows Onward House to receive the full sale proceeds, and you may be able to bypass capital gains tax. This approach often results in more resources going to the causes you care about. You can donate long-term appreciated securities, including stock, bonds, and mutual funds, directly to Onward House. Take an immediate income tax deduction in the amount of the full fair market value if you itemize your deductions.
Please consult your tax advisor who can help you determine if this is the right strategy for you.
To donate stock, please send an email to the Director of Development and Communications, Emilio Araujo, at earaujo@onwardhouse.org and for the DTC donation instructions and support with facilitating the donation.
Foundations
Onward House is always looking to connect with foundations who support the kind of work that we do. If you are a foundation representative, please reach out directly to our Institutional Giving Associate, Eleni Dima, at edima@onwardhouse.org to connect.
