CARES Campaign Community Center: Uniting to Advance Health Equity & Access (starting on page 3)

In October, Onward House had the opportunity to showcase the CARES Community Center to a room of healthcare and philanthropic leaders at the Michael Reese Health Trust Awards. The event celebrated Stephanie Willding, CEO of CommunityHealth, who used the opportunity to bring together a panel of key partners in the CARES Community Center initiative, highlighting the collaborative effort to bring critical health, education, and support services to Chicago’s Northwest Side. Together, they shared insights into how this new facility will address community needs through holistic, equitable services.

This collaboration exemplifies the power of partnership and shared vision. With support from Stephanie and our incredible partners, Onward House’s CARES Center will be a model for providing accessible health services and resources to those who need them most. We’re grateful for the leadership and expertise of these community leaders and look forward to continuing our 130-year legacy of supporting children and families on the Northwest Side and beyond.
