On March 30, 2026, Onward Neighborhood House broke ground on the $7.5 million CARES Community Center at 2644 N. Central Ave. in Belmont Cragin. Once complete, the 31,000-square-foot space will bring free primary and pediatric care, bilingual mental health services, adult education, and an expanded food pantry together under one roof, serving families across Chicago’s Northwest Side.
